日本の縄文期の遺跡は、数千か所発掘されていますが、諸外国に見られるような、頭に矢じりが突き刺さっているようなもの、肋骨に槍の穂先が挟まっているような遺体は、いまだ発見されていません。

つまり、縄文期の日本は、人が戦いや争いをすることなく、男女がともに働き、ともに暮らした戦いのない、平和な時代だったということができます。

日本では、そういう時代が二万年近く続いたのです。
これはすごいことです。
